It all started when Cole met Perry in a bar. Over three years they had some exciting adventures, and misadventures. The six stories included in this book are all about their journey from bar to wedding.
The Anniversary
Another cancellation of plans by his boyfriend forces Cole out to the neighborhood bar. Not long after arriving he meets Perry. Even as exciting as Perry is, he’s unsure how the night will end.
The Fight
Cole and Perry are struggling to make time for each other and constantly at each other’s throats. A fight to the death will decide who is right or wrong in their arguments. But Cole really doesn’t want to shoot Perry.
The Threesome
Deciding they want to spice up things in the bedroom, Perry wants to have a one-time threesome. Cole’s nervous and doesn’t want to ask any of their friends to join them. Perry finds the perfect solution.
The House
After two and a half years together, Cole and Perry want to buy a house. Once they find the perfect house, they get to spend their first morning together in their new space. Perry will have to help Cole decide which room is his favorite.
The Baby
Both Cole and Perry are exhausted. Taking care of a three month old is hard when she’s up all night and is always hungry. If only they could find where they put the bottle warmer.
The Wedding
Cole is ready to make his commitment to Perry life-long. After careful planning, they created the perfect event. What could possibly go wrong? If only Cole didn’t ask the same question.

Six vignettes into the lives of Perry and Cole.
It was nice that the stories each took and unexpected twist or something funny happened. The short book has great potential if the story was backfilled and perhaps expanded into a regular sized novel.

This was a really strange book for me. The excepts say it is following several events of Cole & Perry but what I got out of it was different. The Anniversary & the Threesome was basically them and their kinks. The rest of it was just different. I'm have had hard time trying to figure out what to write for this review.

This is a great short story, the characters are fun and each of the chapters has a great twist at the end of it.
Cole and Perry are two down to earth guys in a solid relationship, which they occasionally want to introduce change into - don't we all? These changes are told in different chapters with affection and humour. In particular, I loved how Freddie Mercury was introduced - very funny.

In this book we get to see Cole and Perry during six events in their lives. It starts with the first meeting in a bar and it ends with their wedding.
I like the idea of this but i missed the chemistry between the two main characters it was almost a clinical read. There isn't much character development and that takes away some of my reading enjoyment.
I did like it that this book shows 6 major events in their lives and that we got to see a wedding.

I enjoyed reading this. I love the little moments in the life of Perry and Cole. I have to say that I'm on the fence in regards to role playing. Sometimes it works and sometimes it is just chessy. Fortunately for me the author did it right. I loved what the author came up with these mini stories. The flow of the story was on point. It wasn't predictable and I absolutely love the wait, what? moments.

This is a collection of six short stories that feature the lives of Cole and Perry. Each story takes the reader through an important milestone in their relationship. We see them in the early stages when they are dealing with the frustrations of too much time at the office and not enough time with each other. They find some creative ways to spice of their relationship. We see them buying their first house. We see them contemplating raising a family after babysitting for friends. In the last story we see them getting married.
These were brief but realistic glimpses into the lives of a likable couple. I didn’t care for the writing style all the time. There were times it would jump back and forth in time and I didn’t feel like the transition was always very smooth. There also seemed to be more than the usual amount of grammar errors. Otherwise, I found this to be a quick and enjoyable read with likable characters.
3.5 stars for this collection of vignettes surrounding the love between Cole and Perry, two men in a committed relationship.
This book contains 6 separate stories chronicling the third year of Cole and Perry's relationship. Each story has a bit of a twist that was sometimes gratifying, sometimes frustrating, for me. I liked how Cole and Perry tried to spice up their relationship, and the decisions that Perry made to increase their time together, however it seemed there would always be the burden of Perry's workload to keep them separated a bit. I wished I had a little more insight into Perry.
I will admit to being horrified a bit in their "threesome" adventure--why was their third such a toy? I naively wondered, before the twist came. I got frustrated with the final scene, because it left me feeling duped. I had wanted to believe that one of these stories would be truth, not fantasy.
The writing style is simple and straight-forward, but I struggled to connect to the characters. Especially because Cole was an unreliable narrator. After the second story I was reading each one with an eye toward "when is the big reveal?" It made for tension, but it was an uncomfortable tension--to me.
The relationship between Cole and Perry is very sweet and tender, and I wished we'd had a bit more of that tenderness on the page. Their one sexytime wasn't actually tender...and we are left with the expectation of an HEA, but not confirmation of one.
For a short book, it could use another edit. There were a good many errors, but, beyond that, content-wise the dialogue felt awkward, almost wooden, in patches. That said, I think the length was about right.
